When i saw this title, it's made me to remember the first time i was on stage. The story sounded like this: I was in Miri, and then i had been informed that there was not enough participants in a public speaking competition. Thus, my teacher forced me to participate it. Well, no choice, i needed to respect her. So, i just went up the stage and fortunately i was the first speaker! When i received the title given by the organizer, i totally had no ideas on that particular topic. Hence, I kept on repeating the same point and the same sentence(hesitating). I was so nervous and i started shivering. Everybody was looking at me and they showed their high expectation on me. I was so embarrassed while i was waiting for the time to pass. Well, luckily i am not the last in that competition. No doubts, i really hate public speaking since that particular day. However, i am still feeling grateful to have that kind of exposure or experience. Now, I appreciated what my Teacher has done and it's really helped me a lot while i was doing MUET examination in Form 6. Thanks. LEE HUA CHYN K27
No, i 100% deny the statement. even i'm not really good in english, but for me public speaking is the only way to cultivate us to improve our english. i like public speaking very much. actually, there was a best moment that i can't forget until my last beat about 'public speaking'. it was really meaningful in my life.. but i can't to tell you guys. hehehe.. =)
Actually I hated public speaking. I used to be this quiet girl who didn't like to speak publicly. But when I was persuaded to join english debates in secondary school I came to like being in front of people, voicing your thoughts. I also love the adrenalin rush you often get when you're up there talking.
public speaking is not something hard to do..you walk upstage, feel the shivers, sweats all over and no matter how hard, you finally begin to talk...speaking publicly might create this kind of frigtening experience in you, but when you are used to it, it is something entertaining and satisfying!...try it and you will understand how i feel when my hands get cold and the heart starts beating faster than ever!!!
Public speaking???????? Oh my god..... i realy dont like it... i know it was very important to us..when i at secondry school i realy hate it but every thing change slowly when i at matric.. Now, i have more confidentto do it...
actually I'm not like public speaking, because I'm not good in English..but..now days..i conscious that public speaking it's important, because it will improve our speaking skill,to get confident in public...so what ever it is..we must learn!!
For me, the public speaking is one way to improve our skill in speaking in English language. I'm like to talk about something to other people, but only nervous is only thing that blocked my speaking. Think about it...
public speaking? im sure that most student doesn't like it...also for me..i never grab the opportunity to stand in front of many people..and now im regret with myself because my confident skill is very low..i hope i can improve it and brave to face many people..so dont be afraid..practise make perfect..
public speaking is the most important way to improve our English. it is an excersice for us to be courage in communicate with another people. it is also a platform to show our talent in speech and make us easy to get new friends. i've gotten a lot of experiences either good or bad in public speaking. lastly, i like public speaking.
hehehe... that video was so funny la... i LOVE it... but my love totally not to public speaking actually.. because i was so allergic to public speaking... but i think that all students shouldn't hate something without trying it first...by change the slogan 'i HATE public speaking" to ' i LOVEEEEEE public speaking'...

morina said..... actually..im really2 don't like public speaking.. because when i'm started to stand in front of a lot of people, my mind become blank and my heart started dup..dap..dup..dap hehehe...
actually i'm also hate public, speaking. i'm always feel nervous when i need to talk in front of many people. besides that my language is not good,so i'm not confident on my self, but i know from time to time i need to improve my self because i can't escape from have a public speaking. atifa. k27
actually, i'm a quite shy person and the video really connected with me.hehe..when i was ask to do a public speaking such as delivering speech and give any opinion, i become so nervous and cannot control myself. my heart beats so fast and my voice will obviously change. however i always tried my best to talk in front of public. so i really think thatpublic speaking is very important in improving our skills in communication even i really hate piblic speaking before.
I am sure that everybody will feel nervous on their fisrt time give a public speaking. Maybe it become a phobia and traumatic experiance to some of us. Actually public speaking is a good way to train us to be brave and confidence when communicate with people. I still remember my first time give a speech to the audience, it was terrible things that happen in my life. This incident happened during my primary school and i were a kids that know nothing to handle this situation.I were standing in front of public and need to give story telling. Unfortunately, there were nothing come out from my mouth even one word. I can not control my nervousness, my cloth moist with sweat, and my leg never stop shaking until my teacher call me down the stage and let me take a time. Although it was embarassed experiance, it give me a sweet memory that i can remember until my last breath....
Assalamualaikum n a very good pleasure everyone:-D"I hate public speaking"......actually i am not hate public speaking....dear friend....from my past experience public speaking or speak in front the people is the one way to improve our confidence to speak in front the people...i like to do public speaking but my grammar is not very good...but that is not my problem because grammar and vocabulary can be improve by reading an English materials...so why not we change 'i hate public speaking to i like public speaking'.....so i hope that the people that don't like to speak in front the people should change their main setting and take it as a an opportunity to success..Okeh good luck all my friend....da...
urmm.. public speaking? i have no worries when it comes to malay but, i have difficulties to speak in english..i got nervous, stomach ache, blank although i have prepared..maybe i should join the company that published the commercial ' i hate public speaking'
Hehehe..sincerely i don't really like public speaking even i used to take part in several competitions b4 this. For me, i can't speak smoothly when in public speaking because i feel like i put myself in front of a hungry anaconda as its lunch meal.I just keep thinking when this session would be ended then i'm going FREEEEEEEE....
but then, as i am going to grow up to be an engineer, i have to be brave to stand in the crowd and speak.
that's why, now, i won't hate public speaking anymore.
at my previous school, i was narrow minded. for me, those who speak on the stage was those who want to be popular among those who not on the stage. once you on the stage, those below will start to talk about you... who are you, why are you there, what is your purpose of giving speech... sometimes, the will angry with you, telling them on how to be a good person eventhough they know that and you just wasting their time!
so, i've made a decision not to be there, to be on the stage because i don't want anyone to know about me...
but now, time is running and i have to change my mind... open it widely... accept that those who are speak in front or on the stage is those who are brave enough to face the world! and i want to be one of them, face the real world without doubt... being confident and brave!
The video on "I hate public speaking" was so much fun. I don't think people hate public speaking. It's just that many have stage fright. But whatever said and done, I just LOVE public speaking. For me it is the only way to approach people and convey your messages. It is the only place where you can speak your heart out and they can't object you because it is PUBLIC SPEAKING!
public speaking actually is the good way for us to improve english besides it can help us build our self-confidence.. by the way,i felt i am going to die when i have to do it..i speak too fast, nervous, cant think normally..haha,it was so funny..everyone said i looked pale..but now,i have a little bit confidence, not 100%..i hope that i can be a good presenter one day..
basically i never like public speaking...speaking in front of people makes me nervous and when im nervous, i tend to forget what am i going to present...but in the end, i still need to present something...so now, im slowly trying to build up my confidence speaking in the public and with this i hope that i can present something smoothly in the future...
